जामा मस्जिद तो ऐसे कई शहरों में है कई राज्यों में हैं लेकिन दिल्ली का जामा मस्जिद है प्रसिद्ध है दिल्ली के जामा मस्जिद को मुगल सम्राट शाहजहां ने बनवाया था इस मस्जिद का निर्माण का वर्ष 1650 में शुरू हुआ था और यह 1656 ए बनकर तैयार हुई थी इस मस्जिद के बरामदे में करीब 25000 लोग एक साथ नमाज पढ़ सकते हैं इस मस्जिद का उद्घाटन बुखारा के इमाम सैयद दुर्गापुर शाह बुखारी ने किया था
